I hаνе hаd problems wіth mу shoulder fοr over a year. Sometimes thе pain іѕ ѕο tеrrіblе thаt I аm sick. Although I hаνе bееn diagnosed wіth ulcers bесаυѕе I wаѕ being sick wіth blood (hаd a gastroscopy аnd nο ulcers wеrе found) tο mе іt feels lіkе I’m sick whеn mу shoulder іѕ tеrrіblе аnd thе blood іѕ sharp red ѕο іt’s јυѕt bесаυѕе іt’s reasonably violent.
I feel a pinching sensation аll thе time, аnd thеn аt lеаѕt once a day intense pain whісh sometimes travels up mу neck οr down mу spine. If I exercise іt, іt feels surpass fοr a couple οf days аnd thеn ѕο tеrrіblе thаt I cant gο іt аt аll. It thеn freezes up a small. I gο tο thе doctor, thеу ѕау I hаνе frozen shoulder οr a muscle problem аnd thеn іt ѕtаrtѕ аll over again.
I hаνе hаd cortisone injections, іt freed up thе movement temporarily, bυt nοt fixed thе problem. Plus іt аlѕο mаdе mе sick. I’m nοt sure whаt tο dο, thеу haven’t sent mе fοr MRI, thе doctors I’ve seen haven’t examined thе shoulder οr movement, thеу οnlу gο οn symptoms
i’m nοt taking pain killers, аnd thе reason i rесkοn іt’s related іѕ thаt once іt ѕtаrtѕ spreading іt gives mе lіkе a migraine аnd thаt’s whеn i’m sick. I used tο bе sick wіth migraines tοο. I dont rесkοn thе injection caused аll thе vomitting, I wаѕ vomitting already, bυt thе day I hаd іt I hаd a strong reaction tο іt

This sounds like it could be a nerve issue. I would go to another doctor, until you get one that really physically examines your shoulder.

Have you considered that you may have a shoulder problem (see an orthopedic surgeon for that) and another problem ? You may need to have an internist do some blood work as well as considering a surgeon about the shoulder…Excellent luck.

it sounds like nerve issues as far as i can tell..your best bet would be to see a doctor..then excellent ole massage can probably free up the muscle that is impinging the nerve and perhaps some physical therapy
the power of touch is immense

If you are taking NSAIDs (Ibuprofen/nurofen, diclofenac, or similar) or aspirin for the pain in your shoulder this could easily have caused bleeding from your stomach (pain killers like these are the second most comon cause of ulcers). If the sore pain and bleeding comes at the same time as your shoulder pain it is probably because you take some painkillers and that causes the bleeding. You must stop taking any of the higher than painkillers at once. Stick to paracetamol and if that doesn’t control the pain then get something stronger from your doctor. Always take aspirin and NSAIDs after food to prevent hurt to your stomach lining, mainly if you use them regularly.
Alternatively if there was only a small bit of blood in the vomit, repeated vomiting can cause small tears in your oesophagus and this isn’t as serious, although you must still get it looked at.
As for the shoulder pain it does sound very much like a nerve being pinched. There are two options, that the trapped nerve is in your neck or in your shoulder itself. Have you ever had trauma to your neck? It sounds like a version of sciatica (shooting pains down your legs, caused by pinching a nerve appearance out of your spine in the lower back) but in the neck, where the nerve that supplies your shoulder comes out. Do you get neck ache at the asme time? You don’t say how ancient you are or whatever thing but this could be caused by a prolapsed disc following some sort of trauma or by arthritis in your spine. Given that you have problems tender your shoulder too and cortisone injections helped (there is no way I can reckon of that injection into your shoulder could make you sick) it could still be in the shoulder itself.
It’s hard to give you a complete answer without a lot more in rank. But see your doctor again, taking someone with you who can back you up regarding the vex you’ve been having. Or try another doctor in the same practice. If they are still unhelpful go to an NHS walk-in centre the next time your shoulder the stage up, as a fresh pair of eyes and ears can often help.
Excellent luck.

The2 symptoms are not related unless you are taking a lot of pain meds which can cause stomach bleeding. I would look for a MD or Chiropractor that treats athletes. If they did not even touch your shoulder they are doing you a fantastic disservice and you need to find a new doctor.

If it is a muscular problem it could be diagnosed under ultrasound you may have a teared muscle in your shoulder go back to your g.p and question to have an ultrasound of your shoulder, I worked in an orthopaedic sickbay and saw many patients with shoulder problems if you do have a tear it must be visible on the ultrasound and they will examine your movement whilst doing the scan, if it is a tear then their are numerous options they can discuss with you and you must be referred to a specialist(consultant).
Hope this helps
