    Rotator Cuff Tear
Rotator cuff tears occur when the tendons of the rotator cuff separate from the bone. Surgery is sometimes necessary for this condition.

Also called ‘glue capsuliitis,’ this is a common condition that leads to stiffness of the joint. Physical therapy and stretching are extremely vital aspects of behavior.

    Calcific Tendonitis
Calcific tendonitis is a condition of calcium deposits within a tendon — most commonly within the rotator cuff tendons. Behavior of calcific tendonitis depends on the extent of symptoms.

    Shoulder Dislocation
A dislocation is an injury that occurs when the top of the arm bone becomes disconnected from the scapula.

    Shoulder Separation
Also called an AC separation, these injuries are the upshot of a disruption of the acromioclavicular joint. This is a very different injury from a dislocation!

    Labral Tear
There are numerous patterns of a torn labrum and the type of behavior depends on the specific injury.

    SLAP Abrasion
The SLAP abrasion is also a type of labral tear. The most common cause is a fall onto an outstretched hand.

    Arthritis
Shoulder arthritis is less common than knee and hip arthritis, but when severe may require a joint replacement surgery.

    Biceps Tendon Rupture
A proximal biceps tendon rupture occurs when the tendon of the biceps muscle ruptures near the joint.

How ancient you? The older you are the worst it is !! Physio is the best selection, But the gym is a fantastic way of getting the joints strong, like the rolling machine, is brilliant…2yr ago, I had a nasty fall in the snow, I fratured my left clavical in two seats, I had a operation on my shoulder, they cutted a bit of my pevis out, stuck it into my clavical with a metal plait with scews, to hold it all together, i was of work for months, the pain was out of this world, could not go it at all, my arm was stiff…I done my physio for a month, it was ok…Its was till i went to the gym & worked out on it…That was it , it was fixed. It was tender perfect, Then i went back to the sickbay 7 months later, had the plait & screws out..left a huge scar in my shoulder..Iv had no problems since, i did get a bit a frozen shoulder in the winter, im 26yrs ancient, I know its going be worst when i get older, the docters said it will…So yes my answer would be , physio & gym, use the rolling machine & light weights.
