    i had a disc removed in my lumbar spine and refuse to do any back exercises prone. actually, if you have a back injury, you shouldn’t really lay prone at any time. it causes the vertebra to touch eachother and I find it to be detrimental. I don’t think prone back exercises should be used for people with existing injuries. I speak from a great deal of experience (my back)

    the exercise will build your lower back muscles but it won’t disappear the love handles. That’s fat and to burn that you need to do cardio and have a good nutrition so don’t think doing this exercise will get you a sexy back (although it will help)
